Our College was established in the year 1989 at sangvi and the Arts Faculty stared in the year 1993. We introduce History as a special subject from the year of 1994. To satisfy increasing demand we started Post Graduate in History in the year of 2002 – 2003.
We organize various events and Programs of increase in the interest of student in their subject for especially discussions, special days of great historians etc. in these events, we increase the students awareness about great people and their work. We arrange various types to historical place to get more knowledge about our great History.
Wall paper various cutting of historical events places are shown on the wall paper in the Department This gives students knowledge a their subject we also arrange various letters by University talented lectures to add to the knowledge of the student.
We had organized a special lecture 3/1/2006 by Prof. Aruna More on Savitribai Phule Birth Anniversary. We had organized a special lecture 19/1/2007 by Prof. Madhuri Mandlik on ‘Ancient Indian Religion up to Gupta Age’.
